It was incredibly moving to hear the stories behind why this event was happening, from the mouths of those directly impacted.

The night included a game of ‘heads & tales’, an auction and a delicious three course meal laid on by The Olde Red Lion, Horseheath who was also the host for the evening.

Each table had the chance to submit a question to the man himself, which he answered with good humour and directness.

I am happy to share that the managed to raise an amazing £13,643.20, which has been divided equally between the two incredible charities.

The evening was supported by Adcock Refrigeration, The Olde Red Lion Horseheath, Cheffins, Pellys Solicitors, Shelford Rugby Club, Munro, Newmarket Motor Company, Robinson Manufacturing, and Durman Stearn.
