your

QUESTIONS

If you haven’t hired a photographer before it can be a tricky decision to make. It is important to make the right choice for you. Let me put your mind at ease by answering some simple questions and some you may not be expecting!

WHAT DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?

I am a people photographer who specialises in corporate, event and sports photography… although I am not adverse to photographing the occassional dog.

I HEARD YOU DO TINDER PICS - IS THAT TRUE?

Yes I do! (plus for other dating apps too). I also photograph other things that have a connection to the human condition such ‘Confidence Buidling’ shoots, funerals or memorials, end of life journeys… I like to help people in times of change.

HOW ARE THE IMAGES DELIVERED?

All of your photographs will be provided digitally through a private website link, and are downloadable from there.

WHO HAS COPYRIGHT OF THE IMAGES?

I retain copyright of all of my photography, but grant a license depending on the needs of a client. I will not use your imagery for self promotion without your prior consent.

HOW DO YOU HELP CAMERA SHY PEOPLE?

Being camera shy is perfectly normall, and I can totally relate. If you know there is someone who is nervous around a camera, please let me know. I won’t point in camera in their direction until they are happy for me to do so.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

At the moment all of my cameras, lenses and flashes are Canon, it has just been the right fit for me. I keep an eye on the technology developments especially with the mirrorless revolution.

HAVE YOU WON ANY AWARDS?

A lot of the awards you have to pay to be a part of, and I would rather spend on a kit upgrade, and time focusing on making my clients happy.
I was invited by The Photography Show last November to be an Ambassador for their ‘Women Who Photo’ campaign. I am really proud to be a part of this as it has an international reach and I am excited to see where we can take it in the future.

WILL I MEET YOU BEFORE THE DAY?

Most of the time it isn’t neccesary for us to meet before a shoot, but I am happy to arrange a Skype call or venue visit if you feel that is essential.

What is the meaning of life?

I feel like it is to do your best, spend time with the people you love, try and smile occassionally… if you have any ideas on this, or if you have a few more questions then please get in touch.
